The project is a collaboration between Italy and France. The 20 metre high ethnic Puppet won the first prize in the historic Carnival of Viareggio in 2005 and was made under the old procedures with wood and papier-mâché, and Italian tradition. Everything is hand crafted by a group of experts. The aerial dance  is a contemporary dance made by French artists who interact with the puppet itself in flight creating a beautiful dialogue of movement.

 

The show is overwhelming, fantastical and exciting.
